The DolphinBar's firmware is fully updated. I'm running Dolphin 5.0-9896 and had the same problem with 5.0-9888 too before updating. Turned off antivirus temporarily and closed unnecessary programs in background. Switched USB ports from USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 both on case and motherboard. Here's also a few things I've tried so far:ĭeleting the device in Windows, unplugging it and plugging it back in.Īdded portable.txt to my Dolphin installation directory to generate new configs.Ĭhecked the DolphinBar firmware is updated to the latest version Pressing buttons on the controller after the first Alt-F5 also does nothing, and refresh still doesn't do anything either. The only thing that works is pressing Alt-F5 to disconnect it, then pressing Alt-F5 again to reconnect and then it will vibrate and work normally. Pressing refresh in control settings does nothing at this point. I turn the remote on again and it lights up as player one and the DolphinBar lights up on the left, but the remote doesn't vibrate and no new messages appear on-screen or in the log. I don't get a disconnect message on-screen, or any new messages in the log, and the icon on the pause menu remains white instead of greying out as if the remote is still connected.

I press the Wii menu button to pause (Just to see if the icon changes, it's not necessary for this to happen) and then hold the power button to shut the Wiimote off. I start Dolphin with the Wii remote on and it vibrates. Here's what I've been doing to cause the problem (It's not hard for me to replicate, because it happens every time without fail): But I know for a fact neither of those is causing the issue because I plugged the DolphinBar directly into my PC and the exact same thing happens every time. Pressing Alt-F5 is pretty awkward though, because I intend to stream Dolphin across the house from my PC using Moonlight and VirtualHere (Both of which work without a problem thankfully) and the keyboard will be in another room. The only solution I've found is to manually disconnect and reconnect using Alt-F5. Clicking refresh doesn't work, and leaving continuous scanning on or off makes no difference. When the remote is turned on again it connects to the DolphinBar and lights up as player 1, but doesn't vibrate and isn't recognised in Dolphin and none of the buttons do anything. If I turn off the Wii remote or if it loses connection, Dolphin doesn't realise it's been disconnected and throw up an on-screen message as it probably should. Unfortunately my problem seems to start when it's the Wii remote is disconnected, either by powering it off or being disconnected in-game. It syncs properly, it works fine in-game, and if it's on when Dolphin or a game starts it'll connect, vibrate to confirm and work almost flawlessly. I've been having a few problems with the Mayflash Dolphinbar.
